What to Bring

  1. Rubber boots

  2. Standard boots

  3. Hip boots or waders (if you want to get up close and personal)

  4. A good pair of binoculars

  5. Bug spray, netting, and or thermo cell for warmer months

Getting Your Hunting License

Be sure to get your North Carolina hunting license before your hunt. Licenses are not included in the cost of your trip. Click on the link below to get your license. You can buy and print it right from home.

MEET THE STAFF

Greg Schrider — Guide

Greg Schrider is a former Montana licensed guide. Currently, a licensed North Carolina hunting  guide, Greg has over a quarter century of experience.

Brian Platt — Guide

Brian Platt is a licensed North Carolina hunting guide with over 30 years in the hunting industry. He was previously a licensed guide in New York, and is a fly fishing guide as well.

Chris Walker — Staff

Chris Walker comes to us from the Pacific Northwest where he had over 25 yrs experience salmon and steelhead fishing the Puget Sound region. Chris is also an avid waterfowl hunter. Now a resident of North Carolina, his pursuit is big game, freshwater fishing, and  mentoring his two sons  in the way of the outdoors.

Tony Leonard — Staff

Tony has been with us at Fair Game Outfitters for the past three seasons. He is an avid outdoors enthusiast who loves fishing and hiking. He takes care of many day-to-day tasks at the lodge and maintains all of our equipment.
